Petit Vour March 2018 Subscription Box Review

Hey, you! March has passed by, and I’ve got enough time to try out the products I received in this month’s Petit Vour box. For those of you who don’t know what is Petit Vour, It’s a monthly vegan beauty subscription box. What’s inside the March box?

Kahina Giving Beauty Argan Oil 

If I had to choose one skincare product, I would’ve probably chosen argan oil.This oil basically serves as everything you’ll probably ever need. People call this oil “liquid gold” for a good reason. I can talk about this oil for hours, as my family members might know by now. I used to suffer from hair loss in the past (before going vegan!) and read that argan oil might help with it. Let me tell you that- this oil saved both my hair and confidence. It has worked like magic and made my hair look even better. That’s the secret to my curly hair 🙂 

How/ what for do I use argan oil?

+Hair: I use it on my scalp and hair to moisturize, protect and reduce frizziness.

+Face: I’m using argan oil as a makeup remover and serum. It’s so good for your skin and does not clog your pores as other oils might do.

+Body: on cold winter days, when my skin gets very dry, I add some argan oil to my body cream to make it even more moisturizing.

+Scars: This oil is filled with antioxidants and gives your skin what it needs in order to heal and reduce the appearance of scars.

+ Lips: I’m using it as a lip balm to heal cracked lips, works like a dream!

+Nails: this oil strengthens the nails and helps them grow faster and stronger.

What to pay attention to when buying argan oil?

There are many places who claim to sell “pure argan / Moroccan oil”, but the truth is that most of this brands sell you a fake, low-quality oil. When you purchase argan oil- put special attention to the ingredients it contains. Pure argan oil should contain  100% argan oil without any added ingredients. I suggest you buy an organic argan oil,  just like the one I received in this box.

Yarok Leave-In Conditioner

It was only on my last trip to Prague when I discovered my love for leave-in conditioners. It’s such a fun product to use if you have a bad hair day, or if you’re having difficulties brushing your hair like I have (#curly_girl_struggles). This leave-in conditioner from Yarok isn’t only a great product to use if you want to detangle your hair, but also a heat protector. Unlike other leave-in conditioners and heat protectors- their product is completely plant-based, alcohol, Sulfates, and paraben free. I use it when I dry my hair with my blow-drier, and it works perfectly. I also find that it adds volume to my hair, which is always a plus.

Konjac Sponge Co. 100% Pure Konjac Angel Cloth

I used to have konjac sponges in the past and I really liked them. This product is different. On the picture, it looks like an angle-shaped sponge, but once you add water, it turns into a square washcloth. I didn’t fall for this product. don’t get me wrong- it does do a great job cleansing the skin, but you cannot hang this one to dry- and I find it a bit upsetting… wouldn’t say I’d repurchase this one.

Everyday Minerals Velvet Eyes Eyeshadow in Fresh, Glowing

I’ve heard of Everyday Minerals and always wanted to try out their products. Thanks to Petit Vour, I finally had the chance to try out this gorgeous product. This beautiful, natural-looking and slightly tanned shade is the perfect eyeshadow for an everyday eye look. It’s lightweight and has a super slight shine to it- just what I like. This product can be used as a highlighter as well, which is a huge plus. I don’t like super shimmery highlighters- so this product is perfect if you’re looking for a natural-looking highlighter that will make you look like your glowing from within. I love a good multi-purpose product, and sure I’ll use this product regularly 🙂
