Hey there! so glad to see you here. During the past month, I’ve been testing the amazing products that I received in the Petit Vour August box. If you are new here and don’t know about Petit Vour from my previous posts, let me start with a short explanation about this awesome website.
What is Petit Vour?
Petit Vour is an online store that offers lifestyle and beauty products that are completely vegan, cruelty-free and non-toxic. It’s the perfect luxury destination for cruelty beauty and lifestyle. They offer an amazing monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” Each month you’ll receive 4 products ($45-$60 value) of non-toxic and plant-based beauty, based on your own beauty profile. Each box comes with a beautifully illustrated card that has information on the items you get in the box, and also the prices of the full-size products. I absolutely love their subscription box- It’s such a fun way to explore and discover new skincare and makeup products.
I will be receiving this box every month to review and share my thoughts with you all
“Petit Vour is the luxury destination for cruelty-free beauty and lifestyle. Everyday beautiful thing in your Petit Vour Box is expert-vetted and free of animal testing, animal ingredients and harmful toxins, for the easiest transition to cruelty-free beauty.”

Inside the box – August 2018 edition
Eye of Horus Brow Define
Fun fact about me- I have never used any eyebrow products before this one. I was blessed with full brows and didn’t feel like I need to use them, but since this product arrived in the subscription box, I decided to give it a try, and oh boy, was I surprised… first of all, I love the fact it comes with a high-quality spoolie, which I use every day to brush my brows, and the pen itself is so so good, I’ve used it almost every single day on the tiny sparse parts of my brows and I have to say I am so impressed by the result- it makes my brows look even better and I’ve gone through a third of the pen already. I will for sure repurchase it – such a good product and it was my favorite product from this box, so easy to use and new-user-friendly. If I can use it, so do you!

Odacite Black Mint Cleanser
This cleanser is nothing like I’ve seen before- it has such a liquidy consistency, that I really like due to the fact it makes the product lightweight and fun to use. This cleanser is from the ones you do feel on the skin because of the amazing ingredients in it like Activated Charcoal + Rhassoul clay for deep cleansing of dirt and pollution, Peppermint + Tea Tree to minimize pores and help with skin fatigue. You can really feel the peppermint and charcoal in this product, it gets tingly and that’s why I wouldn’t recommend it for super sensitive skin nor for usage on the eye area. It has done a good job cleaning my sensitive skin and didn’t dry it out. I don’t think I will re-purchase it due to the price, but if you really like to feel your cleanser and deep-cleanse your skin (especially for acne prone/oily skin types) you might want to give it a try.

St. Tropica Coconut Hot Oil Hair Mask
This hair mask was such a fun experience for me! I have never tried a hot oil hair mask before so it was very much new for me. I have dry, curly frizzy hair with a sensitive scalp, so I’m picky when it comes to hair products, and this one really surprised me. This mask is coconut oil based with additional ingredients like Biotin, Hibiscus, and Green Tea to protect and nourish the hair and scalp. I applied the mask to my hair and let it sit for about 20 minutes before washing it with shampoo. I had to wash my hair twice to get all the oil out of the hair, brushed it and voila, the hair just looks amazing. For this price, I would say it is worth trying and seeing if it is good for you, as the results are instant and good.

Formulary 55 Sea Clay Body Mask
Another product that I have never tried before- a body mask! This product is supposed to “tone, treat, and tighten; this purifying body mask removes impurities, pollutants, and excess oils without stripping the skin”. I have used the whole thing for a full-on body treatment and let it sit for 15 minutes, it has dried and after removing it my skin did felt tight and soft. I really enjoyed the experience and the scent of this product, and feel like it is a very similar experience to using a regular clay mask, so I might just try to use clay and DIY it instead of re-purchasing it.
