JORD wooden watch review+ how to style

Hi guys!

If you happen to read my blog on the regular, you have probably noticed my love to accessories and time pieces – delicate, statement and super special ones – I love them all, wear them on a daily basis, and truly  believe that those little details can make an outfit. Wearing jewelry, as well as time pieces, add more character and personality to everything we wear.

I own many vegan watches, most of them are in silver or gold, but recently I got a bit board of wearing those ordinary watches and really wanted a unique, one of a kind watch. a one that we wont see everywhere, a one that will make me feel special while wearing it.

Luckily for me, JORD reached out to me and offered to send me one of their stunning wooden watches. I was looking at the pictures on their site and fell in love with the look, the original, modern design and the aesthetic of their watches. It was hard for to choose one watch – but I decided to go for one of my favorites – The Cora watch in Rose gold, and I’m so glad I did!

The watch came in a beautiful parcel, and I  was amazed to find a gorgeous wooden box inside it. I LOVE beautiful packaging and appreciate the work and effort brands put to create them, but I have never seen such an effort before.The box comes with a magnetic closure and has a little drawer that contains a finishing oil for the watch, care instructions and a microfiber cloth.

I decided to take my JORD watch outside for a walk! Summer is about to end, but since it’s still boiling hot outside, I wore a super ummery outfit – a white flowy dress anda pair of white laced wedges. I love how this watch can be worn all year around, due to its neutral color. Even though it’s neutral – it’s just popping up, and add so much to the whole look.

As you know, I’m vegan and don’t wear, eat or use any animal derived ingredients. As one how highly appreciate sustainable fashion and eco-friendly products, I love the fact JORD are using reclaimed furniture as the main source of wood.  All of their watches are natural and Hand crafted, which is a huge plus for everyone.

Wood is such a beautiful, fashionable material and the people in JORD really know how to use it and make it look perfect.

To add an earthy, summery vibe I grabbed my coconut bag (yeah it’s a real coconut!). I feel like it goes really well with my watch so I could not resist wearing it with this outfit!
