Top winter essentials – part 1

Hi guys! Happy New Year!

I’m so sorry I haven’t posted anything in the last 2 months, but 2018 is here and one of my goals is to be more active and write more here on my blog!

Winter has finally arrived at my country and it’s about time to start wearing all my favorite winter pieces that I’ve been collecting for so long. I’m so excited to share them with you and hope you’ll enjoy reading this post. My original plan was to write a top-5 list, but I just couldn’t give up any of those items, LOL

1)Sock/ over the knee boots

I added those two styles of boots under the same category because they are very similar (and also because I wanted to save space for other things on this list- LOL). I love those two styles of boots so much- especially over the knee boots. These are so stylish and wearable, everyone can rock them, and they make your legs look sooo long!

2)winter florals

If you’ve been following me for a while now,  you’re probably aware of my obsession to floral prints, especially in dresses. During the winter I cannot give up my romantic floral dresses, but I do tend to choose deeper colors like navy, deep red and brown. I’m so glad the weather here isn’t cold enough to wear dresses, and I usually pair them with over the knee boots, as you can see here 🙂

3)Vegan Tweed

When I see a (vegan) tweed garment, the first thing that pops into my mind is Chanel’s style, and whenever I wear it I feel super classy. I love the look of a good vegan-tweed jacket and also love to see this material on dresses. But be sure you’re searching for vegan tweed, because tweed is sometimes made from animal materials like wool.

4)RED, RED, RED

Red is the color of this season, but I see it as a classic. I used to hate this color in the past but in the last year I fell in love with this color and have been collecting so many red clothes, shoes and accessories. I love adding pops of red to my looks with shoes and bags, a beautiful, wool-free red beret and also red necklace or earrings. I feel like everyone can add a little bit of red to their lives- even on their lips (but make sure it does not contain carmine!) try it and it may make you feel amazing.
