Rapunzel made me do it- Styling a lilac dress

Hello friends! Haven’t been here for a while now and I missed writing so so much!

A color I’ve seen a lot on runways lately was lilac- and I’m sure if you’ll enter a store during this time of the year- you’ll probably spot some trendy, bright and feminine lilac clothing items. I LOVE this color so much and today I want to share with you one of my latest outfits that included this beautiful color.

I’ve seen this dress on ASOS (I live in this website) a long time ago, and fell in love immediately. Due to its color, design and Rapunzel vibes (I mean- just look at it!! Isn’t it so similar? ☺ ) – I could not resist buying it. It has a cold shoulder cut and a sheer lace detail on the waistline. I  love to give dimension to this area, and this detail makes this dress even more beautiful and flattering for my body type. and now- let’s talk accessories…

Because this dress makes such a statement on its own I did not add any jewelry, but you know me- a statement dress CAN’T  stop me from wearing a pair of statement shoes and bag with it ☺ My metallic bow clutch is actually a crossbody bag, but because I didn’t want to add anything to the “dress area” I wore it as a clutch. This clutch is from Asos as well and it was SO cheap- It is NOT practical, but I could justify this purchase because I thought it would look so amazing with my shoes- let’s talk about them now.

If you have been following me, by now you might have noticed my shoe addiction-  I’m a shoeaholic in heart and LOVE finding unique shoes. I truly think that a good statement shoe can make an outfit! You can wear a super basic outfit, but when you add a pair of bold shoes- they make it look a thousand times better.

SO -To complete the princess look I wore these pretty gold sequin block sandals by Coco Wren. I ordered them from Asos on June, and amazingly they are still in stock. This pair of shoes has the most perfect sequin strap detail,  a lace up design that I tied as a bow,  and a beautiful metallic-gold block heel.
